We'd like to new team members to join us at the beginning of practice Monday: 6:30-7pm at Mason Intermediat (same gym as the try-outs).
The Comet Skippers are hosting their 3rd annual Jump Rope Summer Day Camp! Children from age 6 and adults are welcome. This camp offers instruction in all levels, from the very beginner to the advanced. Participants are placed into small groups according to level of experience. Elements include, single rope, Chinese wheel, double dutch and long ropes.
When: Tuesday thru Friday June 19th - 22nd 2012 Time: 9AM-4PM
Where: Mason Intermediate School (45 Gym) 6307 Mason Montgomery Rd. Mason OH 45040
Staff and Camper show from 3-4 pm Friday June 22nd. Free to Public!

We have an amazing sport that deserves international recognition and respect. The world of jump rope (aka rope skipping) is made up of athletes, coaches and volunteers who are very dedicated, passionate, intelligent and creative people. There is a growing need for an event that brings together the world of jump rope in an environment that promotes innovation in the sport, mutual understanding, acceptance of diversity, identification of common goals, universal sharing of skills and ideas, and unity in the promotion and growth of our sport.

The Comet Skippers are a competitive jump rope team in Mason, OH (a northern suburb of Cincinnati). We were founded in 2004 by a family that moved from Texas, a hotbed for competitive jump rope. Our jumpers range from 3rd grade-college.
