Your donations help support:
Travel
A. Domestic travel for one jumper/season = $1000
This includes fall workshops for learning skills and competitions in the spring.
B. Domestic travel for one jumper/season = $2000
This includes fall workshops for learning skills, competitions in the spring and one domestic season end championship.
C. International travel for one jumper/season = $4000
This includes workshops for learning skills, competitions in the spring and one international world championship.
Outreach Programs
A. International travel for a coach and 6 jumpers for one outreach = $10,000.
We receive numerous invitations to visit foreign countries to help start up the sport of jump rope, build new teams and educate coaches and judges in the sport. The hosts usually provide meals, host homes and ground transportation to help minimize costs.
B. Domestic travel for a coach and 10 jumpers for one outreach = $6,000.
We receive numerous invitations to visit regional, national and continental areas to help start up new teams and mentor existing teams. Our US, Canadian and Central America friends also cover as many expenses as possible.
Scholarship Funds
College scholarships for one graduating senior = $1000.
Currently colleges do not have sports scholarships available for jump rope athletes. Our athletes are honor students, very active in clubs and activities and are leaders in their schools. We grant each graduating senior $1,000 toward their higher education. We have 8 high school seniors this year, we will have 3 seniors in 2023, and 5 seniors in 2024.
Team Van
Team Van = $50,000
We travel as a team dozens of times each season for workshops, competitions, demonstrations and more. A 15 passenger team van emblazoned with the team logo would be an amazing marketing vehicle and very functional for us. It would aid us so much in being able to accept more of the outreach invitations we receive. We would proudly display the sponsor’s name and logo as well.
Equipment
A. Uniforms and Equipment = $250 / athlete; $20,000 / team.
The uniform package per athlete on our team includes a team owned formal uniform and warm up. Each year the jumper needs to purchase 5 team shirts and 3 team shorts. New jumpers purchase a $50 team backpack. They replenish jump ropes as needed throughout the season. On average, each team member spends $100 / season on uniforms and equipment. Most jumpers go through two (2) pair of shoes each season, on average $125 / season.
B. Team Equipment = $500.
We purchase team equipment occasionally and only as needed. This includes ropes, sound equipment, etc. We are very frugal and only purchase team items as needed.
